ISLA MARCELLUS and STIFF PERSON SYNDROME (SPS) FUNDRAISER

Swing into action to help raise funds on behalf of Isla Marcellus, who is turning five years old in July.  Isla is a brave little girl who has been fighting SPS since she was 18 months old.  This tournament is in support of Isla and her family, and to support the foundation that is searching for a cure:  SPSRF:  Stiff Person Syndrome Research Foundation. 

Isla is the daughter of Shaun Marcellus, Course Superintendent at Wanumetonomy Golf and Country Club.

SILENT AUCTION – GOLF FOURSOMES - Auction for Foursomes has ended 7/3/24, Thank you to all our bidders and winners. 

A group of Shaun’s professional peers and private course members have joined forces to generously donate an amazing list of golf foursomes to courses across the country including the Chicago Country Club, Fishers Island, and Liberty National Country Club. Place a bid and your foursome may gain access to courses you’ve only dreamed of playing.

Wanumetonomy Golf and Country Club, founded in 1922, is a historic private golf club located in Middletown, Rhode Island, that features commanding views of Narragansett Bay from every hole. One of the premier Seth Raynor courses, Wanumetonomy Golf and Country Club has held prestigious events, including the 1995 U.S. Amateur Tournament that featured the defending champion, Tiger Woods.

Following the golf tournament there will be a cocktail reception.  This event is open to ANYONE who would like to join us in celebrating this amazing effort of support for the Marcellus family – Shaun, Stephanie, big sister Paige, and of course, Isla.
